Father, daughter killed in Thanksgiving car crash involving 4 vehicles, deputies say – WSB-TV Channel 2


CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A father and daughter were killed Thursday in a car accident, according to Cherokee County Sheriff officials.

CCSO said deputies responded around 11:30 a.m. to a car crash on Knox Bridge Highway near Scott Hudgens Drive.

According to deputies, an Ford F-150 truck was traveling east, crossed the center line and hit a Nissan Armada traveling west.

Authorities said the 52-year-old man driving the Armada and his 18-year-old daughter, who was in the back seat, were killed. His wife and younger daughter were taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the F-150, a 24-year-old from Canton, was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Officials said there were no injuries in the other two cars involved.

The identities of the victims have not been released. The accident is still under investigation.
