Brad Pitt’s skincare line was partly influenced by his ex Gwyneth Paltrow
Yes, you read that right. During an interview with British Vogue, the Bullet Train actor talked about his ex Gwyneth Paltrow’s skincare line Goop and gave her the credit for inspiring him to come up with the idea of Le Domaine. He told the magazine, “I love what Gwyneth [Paltrow]’s done [with Goop]. She is still a really dear friend, and she has built this empire.”
Brad couldn’t stop gushing over Paltrow and further added, “She has always had that in her as a curator, and it’s been a lovely creative outlet for her. She is still a really dear friend, and she has built this empire. In fact, come to think about it, she was probably the first one who got me to even wash my face twice a day… maybe.”
Which are the products included in Brad Pitt’s skincare brand, Le Domaine?
As per the reports of Page Six, Brad Pitt’s skincare brand, Le Domaine launched with a total of three products and they are as follows: The Serum ($385), The Cream ($320), and The Cleaning Emulsion ($80).
Even though Le Domaine is the Oscar winner’s skincare line, he is not the face of the brand but he is the one behind the creation of the products. It has been stated that the formulas of his skincare brand, Le Domaine are based on the grapes grown at Chateau Miraval, the French vineyard, he and his ex Angelina Jolie purchased together in the year 2008.
According to the official website of the brand, Le Domaine “wants to help slow the process of skin aging and give everyone, regardless of gender or skin type, the opportunity to age well.”
Brad told British Vogue, he doesn’t “want to be running from [aging].” He added, “It’s a concept we can’t escape, and I would like to see our culture embracing it a bit more, talking about it in those terms. Something we discussed [in founding Le Domaine] was this headline of ‘anti-[aging].’ It’s ridiculous … But what is real is treating your skin in a healthy manner.”
What is Brad Pitt’s skincare routine?
While speaking with British Vogue, Brad spilled the beans on his skincare routine as well. He told the publication, “I got a morning wash, I do my serum, I do my day cream, and I’m done. I’m out the door.”
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star further added, “Then at night, I do my wash — I am committed to the wash — I do my serum, and I do the night cream. Done.”
