Sumner Stroh, the influencer who claimed singer Adam Levine had an extramarital affair with her, had previously used songs from Maroon 5 in a number of TikTok videos containing cryptic captions.
Stroh alleged that she had an affair with Levine, who is married and has two children with Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, in a TikTok video that has since gone viral on Monday.
Levine responded to the request on Tuesday and claimed he had not had an affair despite “crossing the line during an unfortunate time in my life.”
In an apparent response to Levine’s claim that he hadn’t had an affair, Stroh wrote “get a dictionary for that man” on Tuesday.
Two other women have since come forward and claimed the singer sexted them on Instagram. Representatives for Levine did not immediately respond to requests for comment from HuffPost.
Stroh’s first allegations on Monday prompted social media users to dig in and find a pair of videos filmed by the influencer that included a Maroon 5 soundtrack.
In a TikTok of her kicking and smiling in bed that she allegedly shared last year, Stroh used Maroon 5’s song “Beautiful Mistakes.”
“I watch my life and laugh sometimes,” Stroh wrote in the video’s text.
The music video for the song that Stroh used in the video included the lyrics, “She’s naked in my bed and now we lay awake, making beautiful mistakes” and “I won’t take them back, I’m in love with the past.” ”
In another TikTok reportedly shared in August, Stroh played Maroon 5’s song “Animals” while touching his hair and staring at the camera.
“That’s a little too specific,” Stroh reportedly wrote below the video.
The video showed Stroh talking while Levine sang, “but I get so high when I’m inside you, yeah you can start again, you can run free” and “you can find other fish in the sea, you can pretend it’s meant to be but you can’t stay away from me.
Both TikToks hadn’t been posted on Stroh’s page since early Thursday morning.
In a follow-up TikTok on Monday, Stroh said she was not the victim and felt “so sorry” for Levine’s wife and children. She added that she felt like Levine’s marriage was over and that she felt manipulated by him.
Levine has been married to Prinsloo since 2014. She is currently pregnant with their third child.
